Maternity Photography

I had the privilege to photograph my sweet sister-in-law for a maternity photo shoot and let me tell you, this was one of the most fun photo shoots I have ever done! A lot of the photos are very similar, but I seriously just could not get enough of the background! And plus, she just looked so beautiful! I think the black flowy dress went so perfectly with the fields.  It was the most perfect night to do this shoot! It was like 73 degrees out, the alfalfa was in full bloom, the cotton was flying around in the sky eeeeeverywhere, the sky itself was just amazing (it totally reminded me of a scene right out of Pride and Prejudice or something) all with the constant sound of frogs and crickets. It was seriously heaven I tell you.

Anyway, I have been trying to learn more about my camera so I could take better photos, rather than just shoot in auto and pretend I have good photos only because I have a good camera, which seems to be what a lot of people do these days. So since doing some research, holy crap, I can tell a huge difference in the outcome of my photos and it is making me soooo stoked to do it more! So if anyone is wanting some pictures done for anything at all, I would love to practice on you!

Aloha

Wearing this cute Aloha tank from Old Navy. They have a ton of super cute and comfy, summery tank tops right now that are pretty cheap so I might be wearing a lot of these this summer! Pairing it with: shorts from American Eagle, denim button up from Forever 21, and a big brimmed hat from H&M. I love these hats!

A Chilly Sweater Kind Of Day

Winter clothes are my favorite, so when there is a cold spring or summer day, I am happy:)
Today was a chilly day so I wore one of my favorite chunky collared sweaters that I looove from American Eagle.

Green Smoothie

I call this one.... THE MOTHERLOAD.
I buy a ton of fruits and veggies. I mean a TON. I am obsessed. But anyway, I usually have at least 2 smoothies a day, and the one I have in the morning is usually THE MOTHERLOAD. I like to literally throw in everything I can possibly find to get a nice big fat boost of healthy energy in the morning. Then for the second smoothie of the day I try to make an actual tasty recipe, so I will have one of those up on the blog soon.

So for THE MOTHERLOAD I don't really measure anything because I really don't care how it tastes. I just drink it and call it good. So for this particular one I thew in:

oranges
pinnapple
strawberries
mangos
papaya
kiwi
blueberries
carrots
cucumber
kale
spinach
flaxseed
and a tiny bit of water
ice

I also usually have some limes, celery, and collards greens as well but I ran out of those yesterday:(
But I swear to you it actually did taste so good. It usually always does. If you try it and it sucks just make sure to have a little bit more fruit, or you can squeeze in a little bit of raw honey or organic agave and it makes it taste even better:)

Enjoy!
